Pamela Jaffee and her family have called Rye Brook home since 2005. She and her husband, Scott, have two children, Kate and Will. Both kids attend school in the Blind Brook school district, where Scott is currently a member of the Board of Education. A graduate of Binghamton University, Pam has spent more than twenty-five years as a public relations professional. For almost two decades now, she has worked on behalf of Avon Books and Harper Voyager, imprints of Harper Collins Publishers, as Senior Director of Publicity and Brand Development. She has received industry recognition for her work to increase recognition for genre fiction and authors. As much as she loves being part of the book business, Pam is equally dedicated to actively serving her community. She is a District Leader for the Rye Town Democrats, a Council member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and a member of the Rye Brook Village Technology Committee. She is grateful and humbled to have been elected to the Rye Town Council, where she hopes to promote transparency with the community to make residents more aware of all the services and the local infrastructure that the Town provides and supports -- all of which make Port Chester, Rye Neck and Rye Brook such extraordinary places to live. She has also been newly elected as the Chairman of the Rye Town Sustainability Committee where she plans to help the community become more proficient on Sustainable practices.
