Rye Town Park Beach Wheelchair Reservations

Rye Town Park is pleased to introduce two beach wheelchairs!

The wheelchairs can be reserved online in advance here

or in person at the beach gate

In order to use the beach wheelchair, patrons MUST:

a.      Bring a caregiver who is capable of assisting with transfer and pushing of wheelchair (beach admission fee waived for caregiver)

b.      Each fill out the waiver (found here or at the beach gates)

c.      Bring a government-issued ID - This will be held as a deposit for the wheelchair use session

IMPORTANT

** Anyone not bringing another individual with them for assistance WILL NOT be allowed to use a beach wheelchair –

Rye Town Park staff members are not able to assist with pushing or transfer

** The wheelchairs are not permitted for in-water use and must remain on the beach sand
